Who We are.

We strive for perfection. We attain excellence.

Hybrid was founded in 2009 by Johnathan Schultz, primarily as a secondhand scrap gold dealer. He was joined shortly thereafter by Makhosi John Makhosi. Coming from a family with an extensive background in the Gold and Diamond mining industry, Johnathan brings with him an understanding and knowledge that has helped shaped Hybrid into the company that it is today.

The combination of mining background, financial studies and a keen interest in investments has provided us with unique insights into the industry, resulting in Hybrid ascending from a humble secondhand scrap gold dealer to being a forerunner within the precious metals refining arena. Hybrid has further expanded our core offering to include extraction of gold and other precious metals from loaded carbon, fluxes and various specialized materials.

Hybrid differentiates itself by identifying challenges faced in the industry and develops solutions to resolve the obstacles. Through collaboration with strategic partners who are specialists in their field, we are able to optimize our performance and streamline processes, resulting in effective and efficient service for our loyal and potential customers.

Siyazighabisa home feeds, educates, protects, empowers and supports about 120 children which are under their care. Siyazighabisa is currently permanently housing 20 rejected, abandoned, needy, abused, and orphaned children and on a daily basis feeds approximately 75 children in the morning and after school.

At Hybrid we believe in the power of education; it is for this reason that we have chosen to provide school bags, books and stationery supplies for 50 children, along with various toys and games and basic hygiene products.
